Halo is one of the most overhyped games I've ever played in my life.
At least Halo 2 was good. I was gonna give it 8.5 but it was closer to 90% instead.

WTF Halo 1 was one of the most hyped games you ever played dont you mean Halo 2. All we heard for 6 months is about how Halo 2 was going to be amazing and then we get a game that's no where near as good as the original man this guy knows nothing about games

It wasn't powerful just with anybody, only the skilled players.  DCOtter didn't say Halo 1 was better than halo2, he said PSO and Rainbox Six 3 was.

I'm amazed how everyone here has played Halo 1 and 2 even though the sale numbers do not say the same thing :rolleyes: lol I think some people are just going to the Bungie forums and reading some 10 year old's comment about Halo 1 that didn't even play it until months after halo2's release and using that as a reason. for all my arguing that halo2 wasnt noobed down for the sake of noobing it down, i will concede that halo is a much funner game to play...

online arguements dont really hold up... have a lan and play half the night halo, the other half halo2.... then take a poll of your friends and see which comes out on top... itll most certainly be halo...

true gc, but live is so much EASIER in the way multiplayer can be played. Yes, having 3 friends come over and play halo for hours on a split screen was absolutely as fun as video games could get for us. But the sake of live is so much easier. i dont think h2 on live in more fun, definitely not. But not having 3 other people play on your tv is easier. and no, we couldnt system link for lack of tv's.

Well personally I cannot compare in campaign because they were both awesome. I just LOVE the whole Haloverse. As for multiplayer we play both because Halo has maps that Halo 2 does not. I like both of them equally except in multiplayer. I think Halo 2 was better in that but I cannot say one was WORSE than the other because they were both awesome

HALO 1 - Single weapon , Less Autoaim , no gay sword.

HALO 2 - Dual Weapon (Player spawns with only one weapon) , Autoaim is triple the one found on HALO , when you melee attack you become a magnet , you cant block sword doing a melee attack with your weapon.
