Dirty Disc Error In Halo 2

Possibly. Delete it off your hdd, and put it back on there with dvd2xbox, if your original copy is scratched and there is a certain area of the disc unreadable, dvd2xbox will report to you at the end what files it skipped, if any.

You should delete the game and copy it over again, it sounds like maybe a scratch is on your disk and it couldn't read a file when it was transfering it over, just copy it over again.

ok, i have copied the game again on the hdd, no errors in dvd2xbox, but still the Arbiter level fails to load giving me the same dirty disc error
