Oh, and while I'm on a tear--I think Sanctuary takes the best elements of Burial Mounds and Ivory Tower, and creates a balanced "hide-and-seek" map in the medium size category.  That gave Bungie the flexibility to introduce a new, smaller asymmetrical map in Turf.  Burial Mounds is just too open a map to actually have productive CTF and Bomb games... Turf gives you a lot more cover and makes better use of vertical space.  After a walkthrough, I didn't know if I would have fun playing it.  After 4 rounds last night playing 3 teams of 4, I am convinced it might take over the space in my heart for Headlong (the best sleeper map from the original playlist.)

Man, I can't wait for more people on Kai to get the maps.

I had a blast playing yesterday.  4 team CTF on Warlock was just crazy.  I think I am now addicted to that.

Also playing Rainbow Six (BR/Magnum only - no shields) on Turf was great.  

I sincerely hope Bungie comes out with a playlist for 4 team games.  We've already got two symetrical maps (foundation and Warlock) but Sanctuary (without turrets) and Turf would also work well for 4 teams.

i like this thread. first time in a while ppl r actualy saying wut they LIKE about halo2. instead of bitching about combos and standby. can any1 confirm that the temporary playlist for the new maps will b out may 1st?

I like sanctuary the best. My first CTF there today was a blast because the sniper is insanely good in the open area. I like that.

Turf right now is hard to get used to because there is so much shit(just in general). It seems every time I try to make a clean getaway or run through the level smoothly I run into things. Of course that will change at least a little with time.

Containment IMO is a good big map, but I don't think big maps are what halo needs more of. Not for me at least. I despise BTB. The concept of traveling a great distance just to see a few seconds of action bores me.

Wizard is alright. It's fair, balanced and really puts skill to the test but I think they should have at least changed it a little. The major thing they changed was the center piece. Now the cloak is a burden to grab.

Personally i like containment, its all big and everything plenty of spots to hide and everything, the least favorite would have to be warlock, its like a big ass circle, and its hard to play 1 vs 1 with all them teleporters
