When this happens I just through a grenade at the person with the bomb.  Once they die anyone can pick up the bomb.  I even do this if the person is on my team hidding with the bomb.

and u have to contest it or it will return some guy did it to us on burial mound and i just sniped the guy and the round ended so for some pay back we took it out of the level
