halo is repetitive, and in no way realistic. hell you don't even have to aim in halo, just point the gun in the general direction and fire. same old thing over and over.

about the whole aiming thing, a mouse is indeed far more accurate, and easier to aim (most xbl fanboys would call it 'cheating'

) i'm even gonna pick up a smartjoy frag for when hl2 comes out on xbox. not because its cheating, not because im crap aiming, but simply because its far superior.

P.S before anyone here automatically jumps to the conclusion that i'm a PC fanboy, my PC can barely run windows, and plays virtually no games, especially none in the last 4 years.

It really didnt make sense. Just because I dont like Halo, I am not a PC fanboy. I love my xbox, ps2, gamecube, and PC, but I dont love Halo.

the only actual aiming required in halo is with the sniper rifle.

imo tom clancy games, timesplitters and half-life are much more fun and require more input from the user.

also, analog sticks are too clumsy, i hope they include keyboard + mouse support for the 360.

There is a difference between a fanboy and a gamer, but I don't expect you to understand that. I use each console and my PC for different needs. First Person shooters are my PC games. Sports and racing is what the XBOX is for. RPG's and Rachet & Clank are why I have a PS2. Last is my gamecube, for the remakes of two glorious PSX games.

if you want your hand held cannon back, there are still people playing on XBC on halo 1. they would be more than happy to have someone to play with.

Fanboy-an extremist to one sole product or person and will not give into the competition even if it is better.

As you put in your own response, Im a PC player, far from fanboyism. If I was a fanboy, I would not even play consoles because I would feel that all games are better on PC, not just a few selective types. Example, A PS2 fanboy will say and feel that any cross-platform game is better on the PS2.
According to your logic on this situation I cant compare two PC games if say one PC is running an Nvidia card and one is running an ATI card because they are different hardware and run the code in a different manner to produce different effects such as Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering. In the end they are the same game. Why dont you bombard the DOOM3 threads where people are comparing the Xbox and PC version because they are for different things even though they are the same exact game. Hold on, you can make a comparison and the PC version is better. Better hardware just as in the ATI vs Nvidia with DOOM3, Nvidia is the better hardware. Better yet, go bitch at the people in the GT4 vs Forza threads because they cant compare the two, they are for different things.

Tell www.ign.com they are also wrong for comparing GT4 & Forza, which they did in a 5 page article.

, and played until like 5 in the morning and it was great, UNTIL, massive glitches found, MAJOR weapon imbalances........i do give bungie props for the auto update...ive actually been playing it off and on lately...but i still cant believe they never fixed the n00best most non skill combo in the game...and the rockets...wtf is up with the reduced radius and power...wtf

wrong, and if you were capable of using logic youd see how wrong it is... as ive stated before, the reason you cant truely compare a console game to a pc is that consoles are static, they dont fucking change... pcs on the otherhand, recieve hardware and software updates all the time... its not a 'fair fight' when you compare the two as they are 'different things'...
