Halo 1 Or 2?

Ok, I'm talking actual gameplay. Don't say Halo 2 is better because it's on XBL.

My take:
Halo 1 is a much better game. Better everything except for graphics. Yea the pistol was overpowering, but everyone had an equal shot at killing another person, it just took skill in aiming. Halo 2 does not. Aim for head, let the little auto aimer make the shot for you..fire....thats it...my 6 year old sister can play halo 2....halo 1 maps were the BEST...halo 2 maps blow...halo 2 SUKSSS online....stats arent real..ppl just cheat to get it...the n00b players in halo 2 talk mad shit during and after the game...if you kill them, they report you for everything on the damn list, then call you a n00b and leave...at least in halo 1 you could play onling with respectable people, who knew howto play the game....theres 4756325 reasons that i can list.....go to halo2sucks.com to find out other ppl's opinions

Halo 1 made the elites in halo 2. I do miss playing halo 1 with all the pros on xbc, but people did cheat on xbc just like they do on live. I would have to say the cheating for halo 1 on xbc was alot worse then it is on live with the glass walls and all. All n all i still enjoyed halo 1's multiplayer better, even though it was 2v2 90% of the time. Whatever happened to stk solo? That was my bud. We used to own the best.

well i agree some of those reasons on halo2sucks.com are really retarded...but if you read the letters to bungie, it will give you a different perspective...i was an AMAZING halo 1 player...ive won countless tournaments and lan parties around northwest PA and actually HAD FUN playing, and even losing....halo 2 is different...ive sworn more times playing halo 2 than i have the first 17 years of my life...the damn newbies who think theyre so good when they have the sword, or they have the BR/PP combo and you get stuck with dual smg's or single smg.....its ridiculous.......the AU made halo 2 about 3% better in my book

my recommendations for halo 2:
get rid of the god damn gaydar, eliminate the need to press the white button when talking, balance weapons.....and maybe add some old halo maps......if all that came true i would actually have fun playing and not arguing with 8 years old who think theyre good when they n00b it up on colossus

P3ST4 - obviously u havnt:
seen the AU
heard about the stats being reset
played MLG game types(no radar, start with BR so now everybody has an "equal chance"      as u say just like in halo1.
the auto aim doesnt do shit. the only gun that u notice it on WAS the sniper. with the AU, the auto aim is taken off the sniper.

actually i played all yesterday...and im going to play more 2nite til about 12 EST....ive seen the AU...LOVE THE SHOTGUN...sooo happy about that....ive heard about the rifle matches..i havent played any of those even though we were in team slayer for about 5 hours yesterday...hmmm......and thats good that everyone will start with the BR....im glad...1 smart gametype bungie has created......i was sniping all yesterday and didnt notice they took down the auto-aim...im a good sniper so i never really needed it...but thanx for tellin me i did not know that

Halo 1 = Individual skill
Halo 2 = Team skill

Im sorry but anytime someone uses halo2sucks.com as a reference automatically gets 10 points deducted fgrom their IQ

p345t but you sound like your addicted to MatchMaking. Rank really isnt that important. Just do customs with mlg settings and stay away from MM.

Also if you like halo 1 so much... why stop playing it? Especially if your so pro grade you should have plenty of boys wanting to lan h1.

Sorry but I enjoy Halo2 easily as much as I did H1, if you cant control your 17 year old temper tantrums when arguing with a 8 year old over xbl, maybe you should ask your self why you are wasting your FUCKING breathe by arguing with a CHILD about a VIDEO GAME through a HEADSET over XBOX LIVE?
