the shorter fuse time is ridiculousely gay...ppl can throw grenades 8 miles away and it will blow up as soon as it hits the ground..or they can throw a grenade from 10 feet and it will blow up with no time for you to avoid it grr.gif

OMFG...theyre not!!!! yesss they are more powerful...but the shorter fuse time is ridiculousely low...as soon as the grenade hits the ground it blows up...if an enemy throws a grenade across colossus, it will stay in the air the whole time, and as soon as it hits the ground, BAM...all you do is have to throw a grenade directly at someone....theres no bounce time to move out of the way.....where the hell is the short fuse time...grenades shouldnt be able to be thrown across the level and blow up on impact

i played all yesterday...mainly on collossus and beaver creek and burial mounds..and they DEFINATELY blew up ridiculousely early...within 1/4 second of hitting the ground im guessing

crappy quality and you have to be smart enough to be able to use rapidshare but...

heres a mov i made showing both halo and halo2's grenade timing...

at best its a VERY SMALL fraction of a second difference... ie a tenth of a second...

ok, for long distances they bouce and blow up after about a 1/4 to a 1/3 of a second...

i timed it over and over...there is a 20-30 millisecond difference betweet halo 1 and halo 2 grenades....halo 2 nades definately blow up faster...even a fraction of a second is vital if it depends on getting killed or losing health
