I also never said you couldnt state you opinion. Seeing as this is a free board and all. halo 2 sniper - from a long distance(half of coag) u have 2 aim ahead of the person.
with this new patch, halo 2 is now better than halo1. stronger melees and grenades can take out a DW.

everybody that thinks halo 2 requires no skill so they play halo1, u cant b serious... the BR alone takes more skill than the pistol. with a damn halo1 pistol, u can efficently fight a sniper from a nice sniper distance(coag/blood gulch base to middle). with a battle rifle, not only does it require more hits, but it also has less range and accuracy. tell me halo1 is balanced.

now about the AU. grenade whores. wow. ive never seen so many grenades in a single game. i hope the fad of chucking grenades blindly dies down alittle bit. and the magnum? y tone down the mags? the mag is now the worse single gun in the game. the PP should have been toned down. like less homing.

i agree with the 2nd part....halo 1 was balanced because everyone had an equal chance of killing each other...if you didnt want to use the pistol, you didnt have to...in halo 2 that is not the case...ok....this is good.....

lets say theres 2 ppl playing...p1 and p2....p1 is a much better player than p2 and they start with the SMG lets say.....they start the game and p2 sees that theres another smg sitting right in front of him, so he dual wields....just as he picks the weapon and turns a corner...p1 is just walking around the corner with his original 1 smg because he wasnt near another weapon...p2, which is a worse player, will win becuase p1 has no chance in hell against the dual smg's.......now lets take halo 1

2 people...p1 and p2...p1 is better....everyone starts with pistol as usual...p1 starts and immediately runs into p2 around a corner...who is going to win???...the player with more skill will win : p1...there IS a possibility that p2 will win a few times....but lets say out of 100, p1 will most likely win 90% of the time
