A couple of my fellow gamers (Yadda and Smackie T) and I have unleased our new stat viewing/archiving tool, CarnageStats.com

We have autoStats (scheduled auto stat updates), stat breakdowns by map, game category (ex: Assault), game types within the categories (ex: Minor Assault), and filters to see only stats for ranked/unranked/clan and within several date ranges.

We had a huge amount sign up yesterday because someone lucked across the site a day before we were planning on announcing it(apperantly through google), but we are officially launched today.

We haven't done any of the screen scraping that a few other stat tools are doing because we have found it to be slow and unreliable. We may add these types of things later if we can find a stable way of doing it that won't affect the performance and slow down the user experience. We are currently able to handle 10,000+ users with ease.

Please let us know if you love it, hate it or otherwise.

It's completely free to use the tools, but it will only go back 15 days. Donating members (subscribers) get their stats archived for as long as they are a subscriber. So sign up and check it out. If you like it, then you can think about subscribing.

We are not trying to profit per say, but we have some serious bandwidth and infastructure, so that stuff gets costly. We wish we could store everything for everybody for free, but you can imagine how much data that would end up being and how much bandwidth it would take when we get 10,000+ users. That is why we offer at least some of it for free.

I'll give you a lot of credit, the site is really well designed and much more useful than bungie.net stat's will ever be...congrats and I wish you a lot of success.

^^^Agreed. Nice layout and a supreme stat tracker. One suggestion. try offering a lifetime pass for a little bit more. Im interested simply for its ease of use (I actively keep track of my friends stats) But when i do these things I like to get all the monetary bullshit out of the way

"Lifetime Membership" is an excellent suggestion and I will work on it (hopefully) this weekend. I am personally honored that you feel we  worthy of your lifetime subscription.

We have some really sweet features in the works now. Some which are similar to some of the other sites, but all will be much more powerful since we already have the advanced filtering and aggregation (sp?) in place. We are aiming to be the perfect compliment to Bungie.Net for Halo 2 statistics and we think we are well on our way.

It is nice to be a contributing part of the Xbox/Halo community. I have frequented Xbox-Scene for the last few years, but more as a source of info. Finally, I can be of use.

Keep the feedback coming. That is how we know what we need to build for you guys/gals.

Guys/Gals,
We just added our CarnageLeaders section to the site. We have the following categories that are filterable by date range, ranked, unranked, and clan games:

Win%
Kill/Death Ratio
Total Kills
Average Kills
Lowest Average Deaths
Highest Average Assists
Total Time with the Skull
Average Time with the Skull
Total Time in the Hill
Average Time in the Hill

Use the filters to determine who you really consider a CarnageLeader.

Also added a display of your emblem and levels. These currently are updated every hour, but we may reduce this time soon if it seems nessasary.

We made the "Games" section of /. ( http://games.slashdot.org ) this morning. We have been getting swamped with new members and even several donating members (subscribers) from that post. We expect much more tomorrow as people check it from work/school/prison/etc. The more members the more useful the stats are (cross referencing).

That means it is not just good news for us, it is good news for all our current and future members. Thanks for the support Xbox-Scene members!

I got an idea for more stats, you could have Total Captures, and Kills with Special Items (Flag, Skull)

Im on the leaderboards for most of the crap on Carnage stats a few #1 and #2's too.

Currently, we are only using the data that Bungie supplies in their RSS feed. Unfortunately that data is very limited and does not include captures, bomb plants, etc. just the basics (score, kills, deaths, etc.). We are working on some new features and haven't rulled out adding similar things in the future. Problem is that Bungie purges a lot of that data frequently, so we will be limited to how far back we can go to get this data.

We just opened up the site so even non-members can view peoples stats. Of course, you have to be a member before your stats are available for viewing.

A few more things coming up this week that will increase the functionality of our site 10 fold...
