Why didn't Bungie just disable Friendly Fire in all of their pre-made gametypes? Or, better yet, disable friendly fire in the entire game?

they r aiming 4 realism. i no its a sci-fi type game, but does that mean its ok 2 have a pistol, a small handgun kill people in 3 shots with the acuracy of a sniper? i would think not... its the same with friendly fire being turned off.
