i try to stick with 10 all the time, cause i am a sword expert. actually probably a pro, i know 2 guys who can beat me. but most others cannot. i have been told that if you get real skill with using 10, then you are fasrter than others who use lower.

i want to make sure thats correct. also, do any of you snipers use 10.

i am trying to snipe now, cause there is no real sniper on my team. and i manage to get lucky shots, cause i just fling my stick and since my sense is at 10 i get a lucky shot and kill the guy. that does happen alot.

however i noticed in coag, i have to lean the shot foward. i thought you dont have to do this in halo anymore now.

I always leave my look sensitivity at 3. That's what I've always played at and I do just fine with it there. I think it would take too long for me to readjust to a new, higher sensitivity, so I'll probably just leave it where it's at, although it would be nice to turn around faster.

3 for me also. just what ive always played with. and u have 2 lead the shot with a sniper alil when ur far away. like very back of red base 2 middle u would proly have 2 lead ur shot. n also bullet lag can play a part in it. also u will proly want 2 use sesitivity 4 or 5 with a sniper, its easier to "fallow" the person with ur aimer.

i use a 6... though if i stop playing for a while or ive been drinking i need to drop to a 5 or so... halo1 id use 7 or 8....

lol Foe-hammer is probably right. sword takes the least skill. if ur a 'pro' sniper thats different. being good with the sword isnt much of an accomplishment.

i know the sword is cheap for kills. but i use it a lot and can pretty much go into a base and kill everybody. and let my team get the flag, while i continue killing.

and i can sneak behind people alot too. although i am trying to use brifle. since the mlg tourneys dont allow swords and use battle rifle there.

i am kind of experimenting with different sensitivity levels right now.

snipers pros. how long did it take for you to become the pros.

I am considered a sniper god according to my lan buddies, 15-20 guys and none are newbs. And guess what? I am still at 3. The reason is because in Halo 1, I was a 3, and decided to stick with it in Halo 2. I would battle you guys, but I dont got LIVE.

I do very well with my low sensitivity. 4 thank you, thank you. Quite the accomplishment I know.

I used to use a 3 but I got destroyed in 1 on 1 battles in the middle of the field. People started jumping over me and I would die before I got turned around to shoot again. So I went up.

It's amazing how much one number affects the sensitivity of the controls. I love the battle rifle. Four perfect head shots will kill anybody on the field unless they have an overshield.

You "sword experts/pros" must not go up against a good shotgun player very often. They can wait till the last second and BAM you're done. That upsets me quite a bit, because I have a friend who exclusively uses the shotgun, and I am helpless against him.

Anyway, yeah I'm a 4.
