Halo PC was a disaster for many reasons.

And can I ask you what part of this concept is so hard to grasp? How am I "toturing" those who love halo 2? Can't you love both? I truly feel bad for you if you own an xbox and hate every game but halo 2.

You'll never see Halo on a different platform other than XBOX and PC.

this is kinda off topic but isnt rare also ms bitch as well? then why was donkey kongcountry 2 just released on the gba... isnt that a little weird. I mean a rare game with nintendo characters and ms didnt say anything? rare also has other titles on the way for the gba.... if rare can do that then why couldnt bungie ( not saying they should) ahh im confused .

i believe nintendo retained rights to put out games that were published by rare for them in the past... since it isnt really a new game, just ported over... so working on that logic, if bungie moves elsewhere or becomes its own independent firm, ms could release ports of halo for xbox 3 or whatever...

MS will not let Bungie put Halo on other consoles, Halo is XBOX's largest cash crop. If necessary, MS will buy out Bungie for millions and millions of dollars. Trust me, MS isn't going to let Halo slip out of their hands.

While i'm liking Halo 2 more and more each day; i hated it at first, halo 1.5 would be great, especially for us hardcore, elite halo fans; I'm getting tired of being killed by duel welding "spray and pray". I loved the stratagy of a single weapon and meleeing, in halo 1, but trying to do this even against a duel welding noob, it is almost pointless.  I'm not saying that there is no strategy in duel welding combinations, all i'm saying is any noob can hold down both triggers and kill some one quite easily who only has one weapon.  I find no satifaction in killing some one while duel welding two smgs.  Now duel welding a smg and pistol requires some strategy, and is more satisfying.  What I enjoy the most is, for example, having a long battle with the battle rifle (postol in halo 1) and gernades, and when we are both out of ammo, and trying to reload, the fight goes hand to hand, melee style.

2 SMGs+ holding both triggers = recoil

in english.  It takes *SOME* skill to kill someone w/ dual smgs, also if you are any decent distance from your attacker their smg is a joke.  There is ALOT of technique when it comes to halo 2.

Dual SMGs = no grenades.

If you dont like to be "noobed" then grenade someone.
