No Icons For Passing Each Level?

OK.  

In halo 1 when you beat a level it awarded you a medal showing what difficulty you played it at.  In 2, no medal.  

I just beat half the game on heroic.  How am I supposed to tell what levels I have beat on heroic now?

Anyone else notice the lack of this GREAT feature??

Am I just missing something here?  <

If u go into profile setting its says the hardest level beat.   It does suck, I liked the icons.  <
