Vertical Split Screen

Hi,
My modded system seems to play Halo 2 on vertical split screen for some reason, while my two non-modded systems play it normally horizontal.  

I do not see any options to change this, so I'm curious if its because the system is modded, and if so what do I need to change to fix this problem.

switch form widescreen to normal it dose that cuse its set for widescreen

you can change that in ms dashboard
