Halo 2 Split Screen Vertical To Horizonal?

Right okay!

I have evox, with halo 2 on my hard drive, with a small tv 4:3 or whatever(damn university).

I cant access my ms dash just the evo x one, if i click 'ms dash' is just reloads the evox dash so i cant change my video settings.

Although i do have media centre and its apparently on 4:3 which means halo 2 should be a horizontal screen....

Anyway around this? vert screen sucks big time.
would be okay i guess if evo x had video options... that cant be hard to incorporate into it surly, well whatever.
Does anyone know how to get horizontal screen in halo 2?

Did someone else set up your XBox?  It sounds like whoever set it up named the Evox dash xbe file "xboxdash.xbe".  Which means they probably renamed the MS Dash to something like "msdash.xbe".  Do you have any file mangers like boXplorer installed on your XBox?  If so, fire that up and browse your C: partition and see if you can find the original MS Dashboard.  If you find it just boot it up from inside boXplorer and then change your video settings.

yeah its msdash.xbe or somthing i changed the evox.ini to make this the ms dash boot and ive tried loading it from xbox media centre.

Error, it comes up with some error somthing like error number 21 'oops' dosnt really say much else.

Obviously the file path is correct for it to say this, so maybe the dash is buggerd... dunno what xbox version i have and i dont have a soft mod its the real deal xecuter 2 mod chip.. anyone know what to do.

Either a way to change the spit screen on halo 2 (why there isnt an in game option i dont know, some releases these days suck specialy when the hype is high such as doom 3)

or a way to access my msdash.. maybe i could download another msdash.xbe or somthing im not really sure.
