I believe Halo 2 did not  live up to the hype.
Its a fun game, but I guess id prefer the original single player story.

I am undecided about single player, but a had a quick shot at multiplayer, and that is good.

Id give it a 8.75.

Tell me what all you think???

I thought it was amazing, and it fully lived up to the hype, except of course the ending which everyone is bitching about haha.

Anyway, it took everything in Halo and amped it up x10, it's rediculous how good this game is. I finished it on "normal" and now I've started replaying it on "heroic". There arent many games that I finish and right away go back and play through again, so that has to count for something.

Oh and some advice to seasoned Halo players, first time through maybe play this on Heroic, I found normal to be too easy and heroic seems just right, plus it'll make the game last longer. Heroic is just a lot more interesting because you actually have to be tactical about everything you do, you cant just run and gun.

I'd give this game a 9.4 or 9.5 out of 10, mainly because it's too short.

Neverwill, I think you are right, Ill give the game another go playing in heroic, and ill see how that turns out. Normal was just a bit too easy.

BTW has anyone finished it in Legendary, cause perhaps there is a different ending, or level???

The game was exactly what I expected.  It has just about everything that they should have added in halo1, plus new story, new enemies, new maps.  As for people saying it sucks, come on, its definitely better than halo1, even though it doesnt make you drop your jaw like the first game did.  Its the little things that make it so good.

I'll make this short and sweet.

Legendary + Jackals with beam rifles = 1 shot 1 kill 99% of the time. Its awesome

and no different ending but there is a llittle extra after the credits

I too was dissapointed.

was there any new weapons apart from the sword?
was there any new enemies apart from the big ape things?
it was shorter then the last game.
you weren't on Earth for very long.
and the ending was garbage.

still it was fun while it lasted, just not as good as Halo imo.

IMO I thought the game was reasonably good it had a few things up its sleeve, but it just wasnt a real challenge.Way too easy to complete.

Bit disappointed in the fact that i really wanted to play the new mombasa level on the e3 video,but nevermind.

Bring on Halo 3!!!!!

make sure you watch all the credits...there is a nice scene after they are done.

i personally thing halo 2 is a good game but some of the multiplayer maps did not live up the hype they could be better but im not the one making it so i can do shit about it.

Halo2 was good but not great. Just a standard FPS.

Walk into the water.
Load up Halo 1, go into Silent Cartographer, and walk towards the horizon in the water. See how far you go.
Now do the same in the earth beach you see in Halo 2. You'll see what I mean.
It's not a big deal, but it's a sign that Halo 2 has more to do with going the way the game asks you to than the original.

Well, like all games, there's going to be haters...  People that say "IT's not all its hyped to be" blah blah blah....   Honestly, Halo was a kick ass game... the best..  Multiplayer was the best part of it....  Now think about it all you haters sayin that its* way too easy and blah blah blah... The game is online.  ONLINE!!!!  Who cares if its easy.  Whooptie shit!  You can go on and kick some ass with maybe the best in the world..
