Halo 2 was put on the shelves early at my local Kmart, and I got my hands on one of the copies. After playing that and the modded Halo 1 all night with a group of friends, we all concluded that we would rather play Halo 1.5 multiplayer than Halo 2.

I really hope that the Live aspects of Halo 2 help it pull through and be a good game, but I don't think it's going to be the killer game that Halo 1 was when xbox was released. I think a lot of people will be disappointed.

I guess everyone will find out tonight.

Well I don't agree with your view, but about 1.5 are you referring to CE or CXE?

I'd say that in my book, it's a tie. I love both Halo 2 and Halo CXE/NMP 2.

im sure halo 2 will be gr8. im getting it today or tomorrow.

halo "1.5" can be fun (but this i think u just mean map mods etc) but im sure halo 2 will beat everything just bcos its new and updated, which most of the time is better

Yes, by Halo 1.5, I mean Halo CXE/NMP 2.

I am not saying that Halo 2 is bad, just that Halo 1 was a killer game. It should have been the opening paragraph to a killer book, but Halo 2 didn't follow that.

Lets see what they did. Added Live(took tons of coding probably), changed the physics models for guns and vehicles(probably not so hard to change), didn't implement leaning or crawling, didn't add custom soundtracks, and a few other things that they should have.

Don't get me wrong Halo 2 is a good game, it's just not that a killer game.

We are holding a Halo 2 tourney for anyone that lives in the mid-Missouri area.
