damn.. i used to be in the detroit area.. now im in kalamazoo...
i got like 4 meijer stores within 15 miles, if i hadnt payed off my pre-order today id consider trying to get a copy.

oh well.. i work the next 3 days so monday night will be prime.

another sad thing about this.. is the people who try to go on xbox live and get banned... think of the joy they will endure

wait until the 16th, tons of quality games coming out at one time.  so many that you cant possibly buy them all unless youre rich or something.  i feel sorry for cashiers at game shops cause its gonna be flooded that day.

That's what I was thinking too.  I read that someone has already been banned for going on live before the 9th.  I'm just not so sure these customers should be punished simply because the store sold them the game early.  Gonna really suck for those people who don't even have the option to change their eeprom.

laugh.gif wow this is funny ........ not only is the game released 2 years late....  bungie worked so hard on it and then gets leaked on the internet ......     And now the game is released a few days b4 release date....

Well yea......   I j wanna say I have a friend who got 5 copies here in upstate ny that sells them since thurs........    so Its not only the west coast .....   its around here tooo ....            bungie really screwed up

a. the game isnt 2 years late
b. it was the midwest, not westcoast
c. bungie hasnt screwed up at all

Bungie screwed up??

1) Halo 2 never had a release date. November 9th was the first one.
2) Bungie didn't tell someone to leak the game early.
3) With all the preorders and the demand, stores had to make sure they got enough copies to satisfy most people. It's not Bungie's fault stores break rules, and sell the game early. Stores usually don't get one huge shipment. They come in groups.

Bungie did zero wrong.

yep, i found that out in person. just the thought of seein that exact store being soo close to me, got me a lil crazy. i mean what are the chances that out of millions of stores, the one that "leaks" halo 2 is in your hometown? whne i asked the lady for a copy, she was very strict about it, and i even showed her a print out of the copy shown here. i tried to convince her that it was already released, but she knew better. not even a bribe worked sad.gif

o well, less than 4 days till release

i just checked my buy.com pre-order, it shows to have shipped my limited edition on the fourth and it is in my city already, so i should get it monday!  w00t!
