looks real to me. whoever said it was clearly a house, and not a store is obviously wrong. the only photo showing anything beyond the cardboard box is the first one, and you can see a step/stair covered in vinyl with a metal edge. That is FAR more common in a store or other public place, than a residence. And the box says nothing about home/store. EB has tons of boxes just like that, full of all sorts of games that arrive. It doesnt need to be labeled fancy or anything.

I work at a major retail store... we had over 500 pre-orders at my location, and we just started recieving them the other day. According to email we're supposed to be getting more in, close to 1000. But yeah, some games don't come in until the day before by UPS, that happened to us with GTA San Andreas.

Sorry all ours are locked up, but if we get any tonight, I'll try to take a good look.
Problem is ours comes in boxed up then gets put straight into a locked cabinet to make sure no one sells before the street date. We had that with a few CDs and they dont want anymore $5000 fine...

I just wanted to add that there are a few stores that HAVE the game but they cant sell it untill the release date. I know a few people who work in EB and Bust Buys in my area. They BOTH have them in...

i can confirm that halo 2 is in al the wholesale stores already. this morning i went to pick up some reg games for where i work anf i saw cases and cases of both the regular one and the collectors. but all of them have a lil orange strip with the black letters saying not for sale or do not sell before 11-09-2004.

What connection are you making that I am not? I have never seen a house with a metal door jam like that and almost never one with white linoleum floors and rubber strips between the floor and wall.
