You can play as either covenant or master chief online and multiplayer. So technically that is right, but not in the sense that you're thinkin. Owned. Ok so anyways there is no system link co-op campaign mode. Just get it out of your minds.

YES THERE IS IT SAYS IT IN THE MENU!!!11111
LOL I'm just kidding guys... I couldn't resist.

Anyone else feel like the developers just got tired of making the game and threw out all their unfinished stuff and just put the game together to get it released? This menu is just one little thing that does not belong because under campaign mode there is a coop option there... that should have been enough since the coop option in system link does the same damn thing.

We all had our hopes up too high for this game but it wasn't all our fault. The game was not as described. I can remember an article telling of how MC would use more stealth and elites using flashlights to flush him out of the dark... that didn't happen. What happenned to the snow hog or the atv? why did they make the rocket launcher BETTER than it was but the pistol WORSE? Why didn't they tone the sniper rifle down like they said... and if they did do that it wasn't very much.
Also just my 2 cents but I do not like the multiplayer maps very much. Zanzibar was as described and coagulation was what blood gulch needed I think. Beaver creek always kicks ass. The other ones are not exactly my cup of tea but they are not horrible. All in all I think once gamers see this game in November and their super high expectation bar is much too high... bungie and ms will hear about it in a big way. It will not stop them from making billions on it but I think if they care about their fans at all they will release a weapon/map pack.

The option to lean/look around corners, and sprint were also trashed.  I wish Bungie would not mention such things, and get our hopes up when all it was just pissing in the wind.

Also, no fall damage?  Now that is realistically retarded.  I liked the strategy of having to duck when falling to reduce damage was uniquely cool.

Still, for me, the two worst things left out are sys link campaign coop, and 720p support.

I was hoping soooo bad that bungie would put an atv in multiplayer, but I heard it got yanked long ago.  I saw the 3d designs of possible vehicles on their site way back and was pumped when I saw the 4 wheeler.

Come to think of it I do remember them saying they were going to integrate the sprint, where you could holster your weapons or throw them down and run faster.  As is, you run a tad slower with the flag and you can't drive a vehicle while you carry it.   unsure.gif

Those are both customizable settings.  You can have it run at normal speed with the flag and you can have it so that you can drive vehicles and not just ride.

Interestingly the flag is also a melee weapon with a setting to do standard or extreme damage.  Nothing like running some lone flag bearer down thinking you have him and watching him turn around and spear you.  Quite an eye opener.

BCfosheezy I bet you can count on that map/weapon pack and it being at least $5.   rolleyes.gif

to be honest with you that would be $5 dollars well spent to me. I have the game pre-ordered but since I am already disappointed I feel bad about buying it... but since I actually have the game I morally HAVE to buy it. Either way if it costs a little for me to actually enjoy my halo2 experience so be it. I just wish my expectations wouldn't have been so high. I also wish that halo2's feeling would have been just a tad more similar to halo1. The game's environment had a lot to do with why I didn't like it... I mean you were on a ring just like before... but there were almost no similarities... I can't wait to get everyone else's impressions... cuz I'm sure the public in general will be just as disappointed as me.

I have beat this game as well but i did it on normal stright off and it was still piss easy and I can tell u that the shitty ending is on normal as well. The last boss is so piss to kill it's unbelieveable but the game does have some great features. The system link games screen is really cool and the levels rock completely, however the game shows spaces for 4 people in co-op but will not let u play will only allow 2 play co-op which sucks a little. I play on XBC too but havn't tried halo 2 on it as i'm gonna wait and play on XBL but cosumising your player model rocks as now the clan can be unified. Playing as arbiteur was cool but the annoying library like levels with this pipes were annoying as shit, however the game does rock and i love jumping on the back of a scorion and beating in the backa nd throwing in a grenade.

Pervo, thanks for the spoilers.  You're now banned until November 9.  dry.gif
