Downgrade From 2.50?

How do I downgrade from 2.50 to 1.5, the only website i found was one that wanted me to pay 20 buck for the instructions.

You can't. It's only possible to downgrade from 2.00.

yeah i figured that out.  So there is no way to run the emulators and iso launchers from the memory card then with a 2.50?  Am I just SOL?

you can run some apps, but not ISOs.

Now you CAN downgrade from 2.5 to 1.5....i have downgraded my 2.5 to 1.5 last week...all you need is totally free to download from the net, so do not pay any one for anything!!..

Yes, downgrading a 2.50 or 2.60 firmware PSP is possible. To do so, you need to have access to someone's 1.5 firmware PSP.

There's still a reported risk (about a nine to ten percent failure rate) of bricking your PSP, though.

I have a friend who just successfully down-graded.  I'm very tempted to buy a PSP now!
