If you have an HDTV, use component cables (either the Monster 400x Hi Def or MSFT Hi Def packs).  480p resolution makes all the difference in Xbox games.

As for me - 55" Widescreen HDTV.  Makes it so much better.  Next move will definitely be bigger.  Hopefully I can set up a front projector for movies and home theater PC gaming.

QUOTE (xbox nkotb @ Feb 25 2004, 12:23 PM)
i'm currently using 29" tv with component rca input,
was wondering is it worth it to buy the the s-video or the 3 color rca for dvd input?
coz i have try using both input with my dvd player, but i see the quality is about the same when i switch it back to rca input.

Your are using composite.  Component is the 3 color connection.  The real value is seen in 480p, 720p, and 1080i resolutions.  S video and Composite only carry 480i.  Even 480i will be better on component but if you don't have a large screen and/or a high resolution (EDTV or HDTV) display it isn't going to be dramatic.
