Well when i first switch my xbox on it comes on does a complete hard reset i.e like its been powered dwn then switched back on. then it boots??
have checked da mod chip solder joints and made sure the d0 link is secure. al seems okay..

Could this be down to a dodgy ide cable as i do take my box apart a lot ( dont ask)

I have version 1.2 box
Aladdin Advance 64 chip (hey i got it for free)
80 gig drive
Jewl Mod
And da HDD led mod

Have taken all the shielding out as well but it was doind this before i took the shielding out.. very odd problem i know lol

Fink its the mod chip my self but who knows??

hmm.. it might be da power supply. How old is your Xbox?

also, what bios is da alladin 64 flashed with?

xboxs about a year old now the mobo inside is 4 months old cud be a dry join on da power supply??

Are the power/eject wires hooked up on the aladdin?  There might be some bad soldering in that area.

BTW, you can edit your posts using the edit button.

They was once upon a time but i took them off as got on my nerves holding the button in for a sec on the box

Do a resolder of the aladdin install including the LPC points. Sounds like a poor connection
