Most games get released in Japan first because Japan has the biggest video game market.  Some people tend to think that the ''real'' game is the US release, that the jap and uk versions are imports.  It's important to think that most games are created by the Japanese, then translated and exported to the US.

But You're right, xbox does tend to get the games after ps2.  i wonder why that is?

.....the reason there released over there is because of the mfg. of the game- most games are made by japenese companies.....

xbox is failing in japan also, so releasing packages like panzer, PSO and xbox live there help to push up sales. Its wrong but it happens. i live in U.K, we wait ages for games and then pay really high prices. Besides, the japs need something else to get excited about apart from school girl panties in vending machines.

(no offense to japs of course)
