that's a completely different thing. in many countries they spell it "moslem" instead of american "muslim". but the name "john" will be in any other country the same ...  wink.gif

Look guy, Muslim WILL be spelled Muslim and that's that. You know why, because just about 95% of the people spell it that way and they illiterate 5% need to go back to school!  wink.gif

Not all of the stories in the bible are meant to be taken literally; specifically pertaining to the Old Testament.  A lot of the stories are analogies, and the meaning it presents is what's important.  I mean, do you seriously think the earth is only about 6 thousand years old??  According to the bible, one would think this is what is says (4 thousand years before Christ when Adam and Eve were present on earth, and another 2 thousand since).  But, each creation period was not given any specific time; each one could have taken millions, if not billions of years, according to our time scale.  So, to say the bible is false, when scientifically scrutinized, doesn't hold water.  The earth more than likely is like what science predicts ~ 5 billion yrs old.

I think everyone here would think that crosses a line. It's a gross generalization and certainly doesn't apply to the majority

It's nothing like that.  Anti-abortion stances are a very small minority of the US population, whereas anti-israeli stances are an extreme majority among palestinians, and over 80% support violent uprising against the rightful owners of their land.
