I was talking to a few EB's here in Canada, they said that each EB in canada will be getting 1 if they are lucky 2 systems max.

Personally I'm not buying a PS3 until next summer.  I figure that I'd be better off making a PC setup since it's been so far delayed (I'm talkin 2001 delayed here) and It's high time that I have a PC that's capable of playing the latest games, and won't die on me thru hardware failures and such.  In the meantime, World of Warcraft is plenty enough until then.   I still haven't even done any of the 20man's, haven't even gotten CLOSE to the 40's and there are going to be new raid dungeons coming out in the upcoming expansion.

Buying multiple PS3's for ebay sounds really good, but that's if I can get enough money by then to even produce enough for one, let alone 2 or 3.  And screw the Wii.  I'll let my friends buy it and play it at their house.  I bought a GCN at launch, and while I was happy with it, the early adopters had the overheating issue and games would freeze and it irritated the hell out of me.

i'll wait till the first decent price drop. the only console i have ever payed launch price for was the 360 (as i am a huge xbox1 fan) and its pretty much collecting dust, not a game yet, for my taste, worth having it for.

relearnt a lesson i thought i already knew... that is, that its about the software not the hardware. although, now i think about it xbox was an exception to that rule once modded.

yeah, i got my Gamecube pretty late too,i waited so long to get one that i only paid like $80 total for the system, smash bros, res evil 1, and a memory card

i bought a gamecube the summer after it came out. I wish i didn't. I bought 5 or 6 games (my parents did actually) then i bought an xbox 1 year after that. But the gamecube in my opinion doesn't have that many good games. Theres alot of party games which is wasn't a bad thing, but there weren't very many awesome games that stood out. Sure there were some good ones like Windwaker, RE4, and Animal Crossing but thats not many.

If a console as crappy as the gamecube can survive throughout its entire lifespan, then so can the PS3 even if it is a huge dissapointment and only dedicated fanboys get it
