PLEASE STATE WHICH FINALFANTASY YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE REMADE AND WHY.


I'll go with Final Fantasy 7 and they would be stupid not to remake it, It's a freakin gold mine. I love the cast of 7, and the storyline is amazing. And not to forget about my favorite villian ever the One-Winged Angel, SEPHIROTH!!!

I'm going to have to say FF7 or FF8, both were really awesome. I would like to see Sephiroth and Vincent again, and Squall would look sweet remade on the PS3. Hopefully Square-Enix will be smart enough to remake the best RPG of all time.

Though VII was a lot of fun, and that first 3-D "wow" was pretty sweet.

Final Fantasy VIII.  i think i'm one of the minority that liked 8 more than 7.  it had a better story, better battle system, cooler summons, cooler characters (imo).  not to kill 7, i fucking loved it.  but i enjoyed 8 more.  but i really don't think they should bother with the remaking of any FFs.  just like The Streets told us "let's push things forward."

I pretty much completely agree with what you said, and I just LOVED the gunblade trigger system.

Personaly I would rather see a remake of the orginal Xenogears, but if they needed to remake one I would go with a 3D version of ffIV.

Definitely gotta be 8.  Jst started playing it again last week on pc, not really had much time to play but still great fun.  Just gotta get used to using q,w,e,a,s,d,z,x,c for button controls

Otherwise I reckon 6 and 7 great candidates, never actually finished 7, played it on my mates ps1 and the mem. card got sent to oxfam by accident in a bag of clothes ,  Would be cool if they could include the item dooping bug as to save time and money

Also reckon they should maje them harder as 8 is pish once you've done it once and you really only get to enjoy the game sotry wise, difficulty settings would be wicked!!!

Maybe have a settng of impossible for ruby and omega

i'd definitely like to see ff8 remade.  woul be so nice  their fmv's were just so beautiful.  think of the whole game just looking like that.  it would be so cool.  i hope they'd change it up a bit though.  like capcom did witht he resident evil remake for game cube like new stuff or what not.  some old summons , some more bosses,  maybe change the battle system up a bit.  but i wish they would at least remake 7 and 8 but looks liek if they had to remake 1 it would be 7...

well i only played ff8 a lil bit. but i really did like the inovativness. i gotta agree that ff7 is sweet!!! so in order i think it'd be ff7, ff6(3), ff8. i think they could "continue", not remake, most of them. like with ff7 cloud and tifa could start a romantic thing (donno if that borrows too much from ff8 tho). and of course ff6(or 3 whichever u remember best) could just continue off the ending and maybe even make new chars (just a few, only to add not replace) and maybe have another evil villian working a plot while you finished off Kefka. and maybe even make it to where a couple of people die in the beging-middle to make things more interesting.  donno just an idea.

all in all that would be sweet!!  oh, and make it cross platform too, if anything gimp the gamecube owners (those kiddies) not the PS2(3) and xbox(360) owners who were the original fans anyways!

Everyone likes 6...i think its overated and was like a little kid story...but thats my opinion.

7 By far.....too many openings and gaps in the story line...the overall story after:

FF7: Before Crisis
FF7: Crisis Core
FF7
FF7: Last Order
FF7: Advent Children
FF7: Dirge Of Cerberus
(and there is one more that will end the series)

7 was the first game i played....Cloud Vincent and Cid are IMO the best FF characters ever....and Tifa...come on....best girl character ever.

Clouds got a big sword, and Omnislash... Hes by far the strongest...killing sephiroth single handedly...No other FF character could have done that.

In order of strength for main characters (IMO)

Cloud (Big Sword, Omnislash, 7) > Squall (Gunblade, Lionheart, > Cecil (Paladin Swords, Paladin abilties, 4) > Ramza ( Everything, a bunch of moves, Tactics) > Tidus (Long Sword, Gay Overdrives, 10) > Yuna (Terrible....terrible game, terrible characters, 10-2) > Zidane (Worst excuse for a FF main character ever, Theif blades WTF?, Trance WTF?, 9)

IMO the moogles were stronger then Zidane.
