I havent used it but i am guessing you need the .net framworkd from the m$ website.

Go into the rainbow section. Theres one there that also works for SC.

This program reminders me of Xbills version of UMD Extractor very good for loads of xbox games (Rainbow Six 3 ect...)

Very simple add UMD file select folder ot Extract to and click go and it Extracts every file so you can edit it with Textpad or Notepad

hi all, i'm slovak translator, and this tool is for me very useful - it's also works for PC file - dynamic-pc.umd.. i want to make language translation, not by means of hex.. i must add some bytes to all files, in order to have normal strings.. but this editor can inject files, that have original file size only (if i add only 1b, i'll get out of memory error).. very, very please, if you have any idea to do what i want to do, please, write me about it.. i'll be very grateful.. thanks for any reply

If your looking to remove and add characters in the UMD with keeping the size the same, look at deleting Programmers notes, If I remember right they should start with //, anything on that line is just a note for the programmer and is not needed to use the file. But this game is very sensitive about file size, when I was editing PT I always kept a tali next to me so I knew how many positive and negative I was.

Started a UMD extractor/packer a while back to learn C++, I'm getting a hang of C++ now. You can't add files to it the UMD just yet, thats the next thing to work on. I actually have some of file adding completed already, but it's not included in this release!

Please report any bugs, glitches, errors, etc.

High6 helped me with the format of the .umd file and the extracting and injecting part.

The file you are editing in this is DynamicXbox.umd

Found in /Splinter Cell Directory/Default/DynamicXbox.umd
