Find the folder in the TDATA folder on E: that pertains to that game and temporarily rename the folder or rename the $u folder that is contained in it.  That will stop the update from working and allow you to connect with those that do not have the update. Just remember to name it back before going on LIVE otherwise it will start updating again.  If you rename the entire root save folder then the game will create a new one when you launch it. If that happens you will need to delete the new folder before putting the old one back.

Good luck.

Load up your FTP, Click E, then click inside TDATA, now find 55530019 and just delete everything inside. Then restart your box (not necesary but may make a diffrence) then load up.
