Dvr To Computer Question

i have this DVR and i was wondering...
a.)  can i hook it up to my PC to transfer videos to my pc
b.)  how do i do that?
c.)  can i do it through an ethernet cable... it's like 30 feet from my computer i'm not even gonna think about how much that USB or firewire cable would cost.

if you have any info or references on that please let me know

I have only heard of using firewire for that dvr.
