change Joy14 or somethin around there to "Ghost" instead of "ToggleMap" in your xboxdynamic.umd.  So for default controller layout, look under "[ButtonConfig1]" and there should be "Joy14=ToggleMap", chage it to "Joy14=Ghost".

You are confusing ghost with god mode.
Ghost allows the player to fly anywhere in a map - through walls, objects, other players, etc.  Walk deactivates ghost.

god - the player is invincible
godteam - the player and rainbow team are invincible
godhostage - the hostages are invincible
godterro - the terrorists are invincible
godall - the player, rainbowteam, and hostages are invincible

sorry for bringing an old topic back but, i just put joy14 to godteam but now my black arrow wont load, it stops near the end (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)  please help

It works fine if the game is on your HDD

yh the game is on my harddrive but when i load it stops at 3/4 on the loading bar (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Try deleting the cached files on X, Y, and Z.

I'm not aware of a program that reliably rebuilds umd files from the extracted resources.  There may be one, but I've not run across any yet.

Basically, you just FTP the folders and files that were extracted (and edited) back to the xbox.    There's no need to rebuild the umd file for Rainbow Six games.    

Just an FYI: Splinter Cell - Chaos Theory is another matter.  I have not been able to get that game to run using its extracted umd files yet.  

I'm considering working on better umd tools again.  I wrote umdextract some time ago and had lots of ideas for umd editing features.  Maybe I'll revisit that and build a umd editor that works for Rainbow Six games and Splinter Cell Games.

I've had this happen before and I've been trying to remember the things needed to fix it.

Here's some things to try/look out for:

Make backup copies of files being edited BEFORE editing them.   If a lockup occurs, put the backed up file back in place.  

Clear any cached files off of X, Y, and Z and reboot if lockups occur.

Check the ini files for the name of the last player profile you used before it locked up.  Delete (and create a new ) or rename the profile.   Sometimes changes to the settings can confuse the game when it tries to resolve the player profile.

Make sure you do not shut off, or restart, your xbox until you are back at the game's main menu.  I think the game writes some things back to the ini files or the user's profile when you go back to the menu.  So, always go back to the main menu before bailing out of Rainbow Six games.

You might try making the user.ini file smaller.   It's a hypothesis of mine that the user.ini file cannot be much larger that 10kB, but I have not fully tested this.

what FTP Program is everyone using, i used FLashFXP and SMARTFTP but they wouldnt connect 2 my xbox. is there something i need on my xbox to do that or what?
my xbox is modded with Xecuter 3 and with the bios.

This is in the completely wrong forum. Make sure your dashboard has the correct FTP settings. Make sure your computer's network is setup properly.
