ive been trying to do this .umd hack for soo long, and ive asked for help, but no one ever helps! pleas help this time!

this is what i have down right now, on my editor:

Joy9=Ghost0x0D,0x0A,0x0D,0x0A..
Joy10=Walk0x0D,0x0A,0x0D,0x0A..

what do i do, when i load the game, it stops loading! someone please help me this time!

I use Hex Workshop (download it at my site).

So now open the .umd, you should look for the button configs if you are doing "ghost" and "walk". I cant remember exactly, but I think it reads "[ButtonConfig1]" for default settings. There, you change the "Joy9=GraduallyOpen" to "Joy9=Ghost........", and the "." are 0's on the byte side. So on the byte side it reads "4A6F79393D47686F737400000000000000000D0A". See all those 0's? Thats were you insert your 0's. You do NOT do something like "Joy9=Ghost00A0D0A" or "Joy9=Ghost00000000". You have to switch between the byte side and the text side. Hope this has helped, if not, just post again. I will eventually come back to read what you or others have said.....
