Hey,

I want to take a screenshot of a wmv. ive tried using print screen, and snagit, both from the file being played localy on my comp and streaming from a website and all i get is a black box where the video is. I know there is a way to get a screenshot but how.

Try turning off the hardware acceleration in the options menu.

Taking a screenshot from a video file can be tricky, there may be a screen capture feature in your player, though.

:huh: it adds a nice snatch it demo text to the screen capture. im not going to spend 30$ on something that should be easy to do. chefelf any other options?

is the file encoded? like xvid or anything. and what player are u using to play the file.

like was said in the first reply to this thread.. turn off hardware accelleration.. it will then work.. trust me
