So I used the patches from the post above for both to use a NPC and the toher to have God Equip.

The NPC player patch went well yet after I save when I go into single or multi player standard play I see a regular character not Sonic or Tails. Yet when I go into battle mode tails is there. Is there any way to use him in regular single player with the patches in the sticky?

My next big problem is God Equip. I deleted my TDATA $u update files and the patch claims to have been succesfull to default.xbe yet when I go into the game and try to equip items that I can not use yet or that are not of my character's type it won't let me. any idea what went wrong? Thanks.
