Networking Problem
« on: October 24, 2004, 01:22:00 PM »

Ok I am a n00b by no means. But for some reason I'm having this networking problem. I came home from college and my laptop is connecting to my wireless network, but it will let me connect to nothing that is p2p not kazaa not bittorrent not winmx not anything. I have tried forwarding the correct ports as well as putting my laptop in a DMZ but to no avail any help would be much appreciated.

Brandon, if you have COX cable internet, they have blocked access to all p2p connections (kazaa, winmx, ect.)  And there is no way around it......yet.  But you should not use kazaa n e way, its slow!   Try also, opening the ports on the router!
