Hey, is there a way to get my char over from another box without having it as a temp character on the memory card?  I got an X3 if it helps at all :(  Pretty new to this as you can tell.

Thanks

Sure you can!
Get this file: http://www.xbox-saves.com/downloads/XSavSig005.zip
You'll need to put your hd-key in the config file. Get that from your eeprom. The use the program to resign the save file for your console. Copy it back to your xbox and you should be set. I've done it a few times and it worked for me. Good luck.

My Xbox just died and I want to transfer my PSO character data across to a new Xbox. Is this what I will need to do it? If so, could somebody explain it a bit clearer and in more detail please?

Do bear in mind that my old Xbox with the Character data on it is not working so how would I retrieve the information?

Saves are stored in E:\UDATA\
You could go sorting thru them until you find something recognizeable.
