There's a black section ID hack on Xbox-saves but you have to be a racast from what I've read.  Is there anyway to start completely over with your own level 1 basic character with a black section ID?

Are there any other cool PSO hacks that don't involve cheating? (cheating hacks i.e. max stats, all weapons, hacked weapon %'s, or any other crap that takes the fun away)?
Like other color section ID's, level hacks, character hacks (non stat).

Finally, I have the Japanese patched XBE for offline play, can I use the NTSC patches (since most replace the original NTSC files anyway as oppose to altering the JP default.xbe which happens to work with all the original NTSC files)?

There's a way that you can have any section i.d. you
want, no matter the name. You might be able to work
the black section i.d. thing into it...

1. Choose online mode.
2. Create a new character (or recreate an old one)
3. Make it whatever
4. Make its name one of the 10 names below based on what color you want.
Pinkal: 0 v5.0 (Note: there is a space between the "0" and "v")
Redria: 1 v5.0
Oran: 2 v5.0
Yellowboze: 3 v5.0
Whitill: 4 v5.0
Viridia: 5 v5.0
Greenill: 6 v5.0
Skyly: 7 v5.0
Bluefull: 8 v5.0
Purplenum: 9 v5.0
5. Continue on to online mode. While connecting, an
error will display, saying that the name is invalid.
6. Go back and choose either online or offline (doesn't matter).
7. Select your new character and choose to rename (don't recreate!!!).
8. Give that character whatever name you want, and it will keep its
section i.d. <

and if u did make ur char wit a black section ID you wouldnt be able to get into games
