Alright, here's the story. My unsuccefuly mod left me without an Xbox, so I had it shipped out. The installer messed up the mobo, so he installed a new one. No problem, I copied everything on the Xbox hard drive to my PC. I get it back and it has a progressive scan output problem.

So now I bought a DreamX premod and traded in my old box. I tried to copy my saves over and everything worked except for PSO. I read that the game is locked by EEPROM, which sucks. There has got to be a hack to unlock a save or move it to another hard drive, no? I don't want to have to get another character up to level 40-something again. Does anyone know how to do this?

the only way is to transfer all the data from your old hd to the new one via your computer.

You could use exp hacks to level up quickly, desolder the eeprom chip and swap it out with your new Xbox, or replace the new eeprom with the eeprom backup from your original xbox with configmagic (Only if you had a backup).

He already traded it in, so no he could not put the old eeprom chip in, and he never had it modded so it wouldnt be possible for him to update the eeprom with the backup he doesnt have. I'm trying to figure out how to do this now, make it so you can change the eeprom that its linked to but have had to luck yet, if anyone finds out let me know, I searched though the hex for the live code of my xbox but no luck, I just had an idea to seach for the mac address so I'm gonna try that.
