Hi, i am not sure if i'm asking this in the right place, but i was wondering if there is a way to "patch" phantasy star so it 'thinks' you're connected to a server.. I was wanting to play it offline, and not on XB live.. any help is much appriciated!

There IS an offline mode, if I recall correctly. You select it instead of Online before you can play.

If you dont have an Xbox Live gamertag and it isnt letting you play at all, then yes, there are patches that create a fake gametag to play offline only. I think http://www.xbox-saves.com has them (requires a mod).

and yea you couldn't even get past the start menu with out it wanting to connect to XBlive.

Ok I know this a ollllllld topic, but I need help and don't see the need to make a whole new topic. Anyway, when I patched my default.xbe with the offline crack it accomplished nothing more than making the .xbe 56mb. When I start it up, it still pops up with the error screen that it doesn't detect xbl, which I don't have. Please help me

The offline patch doesn't work for me, either.
Do I patch the default.xbe, or patch the iso?
