Not much really...some guy videotaping himself commiting vandalism, just because he got a defective iPod model.   Not really much at all.

someone owns a ipod......

Yes it is quite true that the batterys in Ipods are defective. After that video was released Apple lowered the replacement cost to 99$ from 250$ kinda shows you how much they fuck customers.

The bottom line is that the thing uses non-standard batteries that you must buy from Apple. They charge you over $200 for a new battery plus services fees and whatnot. It is a fact that _all_ rechargeable batteries have a limited life and therefore should be cheap to replace (relative to whatever they are powering). That is clearly not the case here. Even if you have had your iPod for more than 18 months the battery will die eventually and you will be stuck with a useless iPod. Imagine paying $2000 for a laptop battery, or $30000 to have your car boosted (I know car betteries are not rechargeable). The point is that no body should have to pay more than the cost of a product just to use it.

dry.gif  , i remember a while back they got complaints and apple started fixing them for free... i dont see how the fact that a lithium ion battery wearing out in 18 months is a companies dirty little secret. I heard that its a common problem for that kind of battery. Apple:18month battery wearing out::MS:causing a world war
