Watercooling The X-box
« on: April 16, 2004, 02:35:00 PM »

I'm planning to change the cooling of the system over to a liquid cooled system and was wondering if anyone can recommend a cpu water block thats been proven to work with the X-Box?

Any help is much appreciated.

hm.. i dont see why?

any low profile waterblock will work, but you have to rig up your own way to hold it down.

That sounds like a bit of overkill.

I don't know about a CPU waterblock, but Swiftech's MCW50 waterblock might work for the GPU...and if you remove the black plastic piece that the two current heatsinks hold on to, you'd have a mounting hole for the GPU waterblock.

You might be able to use thermal epoxy if you don't find an appropriate hold down device for the CPU.
