I dont have a way to ftp files from my xbox to my PC so could someone tell me if i could install mods to my game without touching the morrowind.esm file?

the only way i can think of to install mods without ftp access is having a dashboard with a file explorer. Then you'd have to burn a cd-rw or dvd with the mods then copy them to the cache where the game is located. what sucks about this is if you play a couple different games it gets overwritten. You've got a computer and a mod of some sort. Why don't you have ftp?

well i tried connecting my xbox to my pc and did everything right but it always would timeout, i dunno if its because i have dialup internet or because i was using the wrong kind of ethernet cable or what...

anyways, how exactly do i install mods by using the cache? do i just copy the mod into the root morrowind cache dir?

yeah whichever morrowind installs itself in to usually Z you make the same folders you do in the hex edit version and stick them in that folder. Be careful though you can overload that cache and cause a DDE very easily. It's not hard I just started this stuff like 2-3 weeks ago

okey, the cache thing worked like a charm, but i didnt like having to reload my mods over and over again, so i jes bought the crossover cable, and hex-edited my xbe and it works great! thx for the help guys!
