I decided to just edit the XBE (i finally figured it out). I edited it to run mods from the data files directory, but now it wont let me save, i need help, i have a mem-card backup (thank god) of the save, along wiht a PC backup (all recent within the hour) before i edited the XBE, but now i cant save with it edited...help?

I checked enchanted editor for any dependencies it may have, under my save header it has only morrowind.esm listed. So shouldn't it be fine?

Also, if you can't save, you probably forgot to lock your hard drive or unlocked it for some reason. Most games can't work with an unlocked hardrive.

no, i edited hte default.xbe, and the morrowind.xbe with all the normal edits (removes first movie, no save sig check, Z-D morrowind.xbe edit). SO help... could it be an error with dependencies with my save or something?

I'm pretty sure now that its the dependencies listed in the game save... in the PC version it allows u to continue saving/loading even if mods are missing... on xbox it doesnt... so i need ot know how to remove dependencies for mods.... help, or a dependencies bypass!
