Dirty Disk Errors
« on: August 23, 2005, 11:06:00 PM »

Just to start off, i'm not new to game modding, Xbox or otherwise, i have cleared my cache after every mod un/install and i'm only using mods that are xbox compatible.

Now, on with the good stuff...

ATM i am only running Better Bodies and Better Heads, nothing to intensive,
the game runs great most of the time, but every once and a while it will give me a DDE out of nowhere mostly when it has to bring up the main loading screen between long jumps, ex. when using recall or taking a silt stider to a far away place. and to make things better, it crashes when i open the my inventory screen in the Gnisis area almost 100% of the time(that's the one that really pisses me off because i cand even complete the quest im doing there, and for the life of me, i cant figure out what's doing that).

The loading screen ones are a minor inconvenience, because i can just save my game before i go(would still like them fixed if possible, but if not i can live with em), but the random ones are starting to piss me off, any insight on the matter would be appreciated.

btw, i'm running the Original version, not GOTY.(i dont like tribunal or bloodmoon)

get GOTY its like 12.99, and you dont have to do any of the expansions, you can still play the main game, without ever going there at all

one thing to look at is junk items you may have laying around, due to xbox ram and processor limits game block sizes over 200 are a pain in the ass, just go around in game and clean junk up by picking up the useless crap and killing some random critter, dump all the garbage into its corpse and let corpse rot, bam game save size down and less DDE, at least it helped me
