A Very Nice Mod For Noobs/experienced Players
« on: August 11, 2005, 01:04:00 PM »

I am currently running abandoned flat, which is a hell of a house.  I still run oasis as well as the bottle mod, but this house is insane.  It doesn't give you anything really, just tons of...well, install it, and check it out.  For those who don't know, when you go down into the bedroom, pick up the pewter candle stick, get the key under it, then walk over to the planter just at the bottom of the stairs.  When you activate it, it will move revealing a trap door into a HUGE area with lots of cool stuff for storage and what not, an archery range, oh man, it is awesome, there is tons more stuff.

Abandoned flat is a little cottage outside of vivec.  When you get off the silt strider, you just cross the little bridge near by.  Walk up the road to the top of the hill and there it is.  Once you have it, go down into the bedroom, pick up the pewter candlestick, and then pick up the key.  Walk over to the firefern planter and activate it.  It will slide out of the way revealing a trap door to the ultimate hideout with lots of cool shit, including a training facility complete with inactive steam centurions that you can choose their difficulty and activate them to practice combat.

Try the Caldera Manor too.  It's a three-level house that's got a quazi-Mournhold feel to it.  I highly recommend it.
