What Can Cause Dialog Problems
« on: July 21, 2005, 04:02:00 AM »

The best way to use a mod is with a finished game.
If you don't then the chances of a dialog error will happen more frequently.

Once you talk to someone, the diolog for that person is un-locked and set in stone, (Just like when you talk to a store owner to buy items). So the diolog and anything affecting that person can't change or afeect anything that chracter is supposed to say any further.

In short, the more of the game you get finished and the more people you talk to before using mods, the less chance there is of getting dialog errors.

Also remember, if you install a mod and a character doesn't talk at first, try pressing the A button rapidly, and see if that works.....Annoying yes, but does it sometimes solve the problm...yes.

Well I hope this helps people out..Let us all know.
