Let me know if there are any problems and I'll just resort back to the original idea about you send it.

Just some side stuff:
Look at how long this took me to upload:

I think that was my fault.
I'm pretty sure I was in the middle of editing the topic when you did that.
I just clicked it and it worked fine...Try it again and let me know what happens.

Interesting idea. I bet that will be much more effective. There might be something to check into. A couple of people have said they downloaded the zip and the world texture pack was nowhere to be seen. You may wanna take a look into that.

I've tried out several minor changes (weapons, rings, and the SN private island).
So far all but 1 have worked. Most excellent job, Grifter!  beerchug.gif
The 1 that hasn't worked for me is the Clear Bounty ring. Not that I went on a murderous/theiving rampage to test it...  biggrin.gif   Good thing I save often and with multiple files.

Remember, the only way this mod works is if you use the hex edit method.
You also have to make sure you changed
Z:\Data Files\Morrowind.bsa
to
D:\Data Files\Morrowind.bsa
Some of the hex edit instructions don't include that step.

Then put the Icons and Meshes folders directly in F:\Morrowind Game of The Year\Data Files. If that's not where Morrowind is located on your hard drive go to  where ever the morrowind folder is on your hard drive, open that folder, open the Data Files folder inside it, then put the textures and icons folders in that Data Files folder. The xbox visual pack should make you notice a vast improvement in all the environments. This is a pretty big mod just like better bodies, so I don't think you can use them together.

As a final note, I have consistantly posted the following in most threads about this, and in all pm's to grifter. All the credit for these textures which have been scaled down belongs to the texturing work of Quarl, Khazalla Production (Ayse, Lord Gabryael, Raptre and Zuldazug) and Jarrod. If, like me, this is where you feel morrowind needs improvement, enjoy.

And, if someone knows where i can get the mod that makes enchants look better, let me know.

About enchanted improvements, are you talking about this mod?

http://www.elricm.co...q=getit&lid=797

That one makes the glowing effect go away, to be replaced by a subtler crackling effect. If you're talking about a change to the item icons, then this is the mod you want:

http://www.elricm.co...q=getit&lid=455

Elric's site is where the old TESMOD files are being hosted now, although he doesn't have them all up yet. Of course, these mods are intended for the PC version and in the form found above are not yet ready for use on the Xbox.

I believe that's exactly what I was looking for. I saw it mentioned in chefelf's list of mods, but then it got taken down and I couldn't remember the mod name, and this rings a bell. With morrowind, one can't help but wonder "Am I trying to put an ass-ugly raincoat over my items, or should I be seeing something that actually looks like magic." Thank you.

This mod in conjunction with the FPS-improvement mod almost makes the game look like a completely revamped game.  Well done grif!

Dude, the above to dialogues; funny as shit. Partly because of the clearly unmeant irony.

Anyway, there's an FPS increase mod?  Where exactly is this?
