Yeah Sure you can make an online version of this game. When it comes to games anything is feasable. ...However that would completely go against and fuck the game up beyond belief.

Morrowind is a game that is and should remain in a class all on it's own, it is a one of a kind game, and there is no other console game that can stand up against it....Yes not even Fable (Yes I play and mod Fable as well) But as I said this game is a game all on its own...

And the game's type should be kept exactly as it is.

IMHO I don't think Oblivion will even be able to match against this. In fact they should just make Oblivion an expansion rather than another whole game.

Oblivion looks pretty awesome to me. . But that's my opinion. And no, I don't think I would even like Morrowing online, much less play it. You know, like Bethesda said:

QUOTE("Interviewer")
Will you ever make a online/co-operative mode for the TES series?

QUOTE("Bethesda's Answer")
No. Absolutely not. We still are the "King of The Hill" in offline RPGs, and plan to keep that title.

So really, in other words, there's no hope for any TES game being able to be played online(offical anyways). I'm sure someone will create a mod to make TES online capable, or maybe they already have. .?

I never said that Oblivion didn't look good, I simply said that i don't think that Oblivion will be able to stand up against this.

And the reason I say this is because SONY is now getting involved with this game and that's going to be Bethesda's downfall.

I may be wrong on this but I don't think I am.

TES Online would be interesting, but would never live up to the expectations of fans of the series.

As far as oblivion goes... I think it will blow the doors off of morrowind. Don't get me wrong, Morrowind is my favorite rpg of all time, but with the knowledge and technological advancements that bethesda now has readliy available to there disposal I think it will make this game the proverbial "leap" into the next generation of rpg's. Very much so like the final fantasy series was with final fantasy 7 for playstation.

Now before I get flamed let me say something:

I am NOT comparing Morrowind to Final Fantasy.

I would have to agree that no other game, online or off, even comes close to the concept behind morrowind.  With all the available mods on the pc now easily transitioned into our xbox consoles, you can literally play this game forever.  If you think about it, the "sandbox" approach even when you're in the middle of a quest is so beyond comprehension that Fable failed miserably to even come close to following Morrowind's footsteps.  I've been playing this game now for over 2 years and everytime I play it, it's almost like playing a new game.  Now Oblivion is definitely a title that I'm looking forward to just because it will follow the same premise that Morrowind built on.  Will it be an original idea? Probably not.  But if Bethesda stays true to their promise that this new game will deliver the same freedom and restriction-free style of play, then I guess the real thing that i'm only looking forward to is playing a Morrowind-clone that sports better graphics.  What do you guys think?

Yeah but I hope that they don't spend so much time on the graphics that I cuts out Gameplay..That's what happened to Doom 3..Good Graphics but ass gameplay.
However this will be on the X-Box 360 and PS3 so we shall see.
After all the X-box 360 is going to be what most modded X-Boxes are now.
A modded system now has all the same features and can do the same thing as X-Box 360 is going to be able to do.

The difference is the CPU.

What kind of mods do you have currently on fable?  I think you still have my e-mail address.  I just unloaded the mods and it's all working perfectly now after i did the hex editing.  Damn, I don't think Balmora will ever be the same again.

Looking forward to those Fable mods!

Actually, it's already in the works (For PC though)

With a bit of time and effort, this could easily be ported to Xbox (and intergrated with Xlink Kai?)
