I played a decent bit into Morrowind on my pc when it came out. I never bought any of the expansions though, so today I picked up the xbox GOTY edition thinking I'd play it more on xbox and eventually finish it.
What I want to do is copy my old pc Morrowind save over to the xbox and pick up playing where I left off. I've searched through the threads here and on gamefaqs to see if this was possible. From what I've read, it sounds like the old xbox Morrowind could transfer saves from pc to xbox no problem.
However, I'm not certain if it is possible with the GOTY edition. Everybody seems to have errors when attempting to actually load the pc save on the xbox. Is this just an authkey issue that can be worked around?
What if I bought the regular xbox Morrowind, imported my pc save, and then started that same save with the GOTY edition? That would cost me another $10, but it would be worth it to skip having to start all over.
Basicly: Can I make a base Morrowind pc save work on xbox Morrowind GOTY? How?
I want to figure this out before I open the game so I'm not stuck with it if I can't import my save... Thanks!
