House Of Horrors

Say it isn't so. I let my son and some friends play 2 games on my xbox and went in to load morrowind and it froze. Through boxplorer I discovered that one of the games overwrote my cache on the drive, easy fix I thought, add the mods back into the new morrowind cache file. I made a copy of all these when I first started using them. When I reloaded my save it loaded fine but when I went into the house I had, which was a mod, the entryway was there but none of the rooms OR MY ITEMS were there. I dread the answer to these questions, Should I give up hope, are all my things gone forever? Is there anyway to get them back? If so, how? If I copy the whole cache file when I'm done playing can I keep this from happening again? Go ahead and laugh, I'm sure that when I have my copy of Fable in my hands I will look back and laugh at this also

It was Halo & Spiderman II, but I fixed the problem. What I did was I deleted the Morrowind cache files on the drive, started a new game in Morrowind, exited the game, added the mods back into the new cache files, loaded up Morrowind and loaded my old save and everything was back. It took me several hours of playing around to figure out this fix so I hope it will come in handy and save someone else the headache
